Heritage Lottery Fund - Second Round Application

The Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds is a Grade I Listed Building that is widely believed to be the oldest complete civic building in England. Most of the building is believed to date back to about 1250.
The Guildhall Heritage Centre Project is a joint venture, with the Bury St Edmunds Heritage Trust taking the lead, supported by the Guildhall Feoffment (freehold trustees of the Guildhall) and St Edmundsbury Borough Council (administrators and managers for the building).
The vision is to re-open to the public this historic building which, along with inspirational collections and popular events, will track our local and national heritage from the 13th Century to the present day.
DEVELOPMENT PHASE: JM Environmental (East Anglia) Ltd. have been appointed to project manage this second round Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) application. Work will include schedule of condition surveys, architectural design, conservation management plans, archaeological surveys, activities plans, management and maintenance plans, acces audits, landscaping and to hold public consultations, ready to submit the second round HLF application in March 2015.
DELIVERY PHASE: Once the second round HLF application has been approved and planning consent obtained, the project will instruct repair and conservation works (including volunteer participation and public viewings of work in progress), new building works, landscaping, fitting out galleries and operations room displays in 2015 - 2016.
Parkland Restoration Project - Heritage Lottery Fund

Working with the Wicksteed Charitable Trust, specialist architects and sub-contractors.
Management and research of this project set in the historic landscape and conservation environment.
This has achieved full planning permission for the project, including a full and detailed application and successful funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Project management including the renovation of 150 acres of Grade II parkland with 30 rides, extensive play grounds, lakeside walks, and the UK’s busiest narrow gauge railway.
Historic Building & Landscape Project - Private Client

Project liaison with Natural England, English Heritage and Local Planning Authorities, including environmental impact, archaeological, ecological and arboriculture assessments.
